Print making

March 2008 

The print making course has finished now and I have a huge pile of prints to show for it! We finished with carborundum prints, which is a very experimental and imaginative technique - right up my street! Print making is far more complicated and exciting than I could ever have imagined. I'm looking forward to going back next year and doing more. I'll scan some of my prints and post them on the website soon.

We have moved on to screen printing now, which is a truly fabulous technique!

September 2007

I've recently started a print making course at Chesterfield College.  We started with collograph and intaglio (which is basically sticking stuff on to a piece of cardboard and printing it), and have now moved on to lino cuts.  I'm making prints based on a Secret Garden theme, with varying degrees of success.  I'll post the most successful ones on this page.
